About

Houseware must be easy to handle and easy to maintain and houseware labels must be both water and soap resistant. This is very important because the products (and their labels) must be able to withstand being washed in a dishwasher.

From our experience, we found that the best label for this application is our medium life laminated label. We reached this conclusion after conducting many test washes in a dishwasher, and we saw that even after a couple of hundred cycles, the label remained the same.

In some cases, laminated labels may distort the container or its lid. This can happen depending on the shape of the container and specifically if the sides are thin. In these cases, it is better to use a varnished medium life label as they are very durable and can pass a dishwasher test with an A+.
