When we say technical labels, we are talking about the group of products that have been mentioned before. You can find technical labels everywhere – in your kitchen on household appliances, in your workplace on cables and even on your gym lockers.

Most of our company’s work with durable labels involves PP and PEHD materials.

We also work with other materials in smaller quantities, but that doesn’t mean they are less important. For example, in making a disposable plastic cup, we mostly use PS material. For electric cabinet parts we often use ABS plastic. For electrical household appliances, PC material is often used.

In-mould labelling (IML) is a revolutionary technique and one of the emerging decoration trends in the packaging industry. It offers a visually attractive ‘look’ with numerous applications including cups, plates, food containers, chairs etc.

The process takes place during the forming of the product and creates permanently bonded labels which are then integrated into the final product, so no post-production decoration is needed. The labels are resistant to scratching, cracking and high temperature, making them durable and long-lasting.

The IML technique is cost-effective, efficient and fast in production. Combining the decorating process with the moulding process cuts total costs and the end product is recyclable friendly.

The IML technique offers a lot of variety and over the years, glossy and transparent variations have been successfully developed. Our company frequently works with both white and transparent glosses and all of our labels are available in several different quality finishes.

POSSIBLE USES

The possible uses of IML products are numerous in all aspects of everyday life. They are very practical because of their durability, and due to their flexibility they can be used on small or large packages. The labels are very resistant and can even be washed in dishwashers, and they are safe so you don’t have to worry if kids use them or even try to put them in their mouths. Since most of the labels are used in producing food containers, it is important to emphasise that they are completely safe for adults too.
